For Women with Soul

Do you need to stop your busy life and take stock?

Have you been focused on taking care of and supporting others?

Are you deeply tired?

Are you ready to tune into your own deep creative wisdom?

This beautiful retreat is designed for you.

Come soak up some authentic self-nurturing.

Julie-Anne Wood, womens empowerment coach and author of Staying Sane in a Crazy World, invites you to stop your busy life for a few days and take the time to gain a new perspective on what's going on for you.

Join a community of like-minded women to experience real rest and comfort, reenergize body and soul, listen to your desires, and reconnect to the spark of your heavenly feminine wisdom.

You may think that as soon as you go back into your life, your old ways will reassert themselves. Not after this retreat! This weekend isn’t intended to fix or change you—because you are perfect just the way you are—but rather to invite a fresh perspective on the life you are creating and deepen your ability to be consciously creative and kind to yourself.

As Julie-Anne writes, "A woman’s retreats to reconnect to her sources of inspiration and knowing."  Come listen to yours and see what unfolds.

Sacred Fire Teaching Methods

Sacred Fire workshop and coaching materials are  based on perennial principles that identify a deeper, broader and unified sense of the world.

This form of experiential learning and coaching increases your sensitivity to your own energy and inner dynamics, allowing space and safety for your deeper nature to reveal itself. It supports you in slowing down, becoming aware, sensitive and comfortable with your own true nature.

Some of the variety of methods used are:

Art

Art has been used since the beginning of time as a means of expression for the human spirit. Art is used in exactly the same way with experiential coaching. It is a fun and powerful way to express the things that go beyond words
that arise during inner work.

Mandala Drawing

This is a specific form of representational art and is usually done within a circle. The circle shape creates a focused container for the image. These drawings are a form of contemplation and are used for integration after a piece of expressive coaching has been experienced.

Symbols

Working with symbols (usually small figurines) is a powerful way to free the psyche to create and transfer its awareness to the conscious mind. In exploring the meanings we have for a symbol we are digging deeper into the psyche to discover sources of meaning, truth and inspiration that lie there for us.

Journaling

This is a profoundly simple, yet incredibly powerful method of self observation. When journaling you are working in a private world that is truthful and open to no one else but yourself. Journals are private records of your experience that teach you to connect the outer events in your life with your inner reactions. As you practice writing your self observations in a journal you are sharpening your ability to learn, self correct, understand, forgive and be creative with your life experiences.

Gestalt

Gestalt Psychology is used in experiential coaching as a means of identifying unresolved states of being. It stresses the importance of the here and now and the integration of fragmented parts of the personality. It focuses on the role of unfinished business from the past in preventing effective functioning in the present.

It reminded me to stand still, take stock and find true north and reassured me of my own good judgement. The workshop occurred during a period of turbulent change in my life and underscored the mystery of the workings of the universe.

Jean Lloyd-Apjohn

The workshop heightened my self awareness in all areas of my life, it renewed my resolve to take ction, it energised me and inspired me.

Jo Knight

It helped me clarify my next steps and supported me in identifying the issue and the blocks that are in my way. It was presented with integrity and professionalism and great exercises.
